How long can I keep the skip bin?
Every hire includes up to 7 days at no extra cost. If your project runs over, just let us know and we can arrange an easy extension.
Can you deliver on the same day?
In most cases, yes. Call us before the daily cut-off and we will do our best to get a bin to you the same day and place it in a convenient spot.
What can I not put in the bin?
No asbestos, tyres, batteries, liquids, paint or gas bottles in any skip. Penalties apply if these are found, so if you are unsure about an item, ask us first.
Do I need a council permit?
If the bin sits on your own property you generally do not. If it needs to go on the footpath or road, a council permit may be required and we are happy to help you arrange it.
How is the price worked out?
Price depends on the bin size, the type of waste and your service area. All prices include GST for up to 7 days hire. Heavy waste bins include a set tonnage, and excess weight over the allowance is charged at $25 per 100kg.
What about heavy waste like concrete or soil?
Heavy materials such as concrete, brick, soil, tiles, rock and tree stumps go in a dedicated heavy waste bin that comes with a rear door and an included tonnage allowance. Choose "Heavy waste" in the quote builder to see those rates.
